We are a key service provider to the automotive industry and now have an exciting opportunity for an 1st/2nd Line IT Support Analyst to join our friendly IT team.

The main aim of the 1st/2nd Line IT Support Analyst is to provide IT Analysis and Support Services to the main UK business and end user clients. The successful candidate will be professional, positive and enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service. Experience of working within a similar IT role within the industry would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide 1ST/2ND Line technical support across end user IT systems and web applications
  • Significant liaison with colleagues, IT suppliers and customers
  • Solves complex problems with creative solutions
  • Produce high quality documentation relating to IT services
  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service

Essential knowledge and expertise:

  • Robust numerical skills
  • Good, clear, confident use of language
  • Microsoft Windows 10 and mobile device management (IOS/Android)
  • Confident and intermediate user of Microsoft Office apps (2013, 2016)
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365 administration
  • Remote end user technical support experience
  • Windows 10 image deployment and tools
  • End point security protection tools (anti-virus, bitlocker)

Preferred experience and qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified
  • ITIL foundation qualified
  • Experience of supporting bespoke web applications

  • A team player and excellent communicator

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar IT support role who wants to join and progress within a forward thinking, customer focussed organisation.  DEKRA Automotive will support and encourage career development in this varied role which could extend to taking on more responsibility within IT or it could be a springboard to a business role.
